Nice to see another update.
Glad to see your not letting some joker throw a spanner in the works.

Re: The Zod Engine
Sweet!
A nice touch I remember from original.
Will they do damage to what they land on top of?

Re: The Zod Engine
I think I did play it. At the time I was not really interested, as I was a fan of rts and fps only. Only recently I started playing team based games like League of Legends (great game) and Age of Booty (which never took off due to online network issues). Z mixed with Cannon Fodder (was fun driving c...

Re: The Zod Engine
I think you should use my game design for this open server team based version. Here in note form (slightly modified). Each player controls one tank (light tank at start). As a team captures territories they aquire victory points at a faster rate. Some territories will have bonus buildings such as re...

Re: The Zod Engine
While I'm hoping to help Meeky with his Open source Z project (when I'm less busy at work). I'd like to pledge $50 US to the Zod engine when it reaches or surpases the original in playability.
Keep up the good work. Really looking good.

Re: The Zod Engine
Showing off the latest build you posted to my work colleagues.
We are all 30+ year old gamers with fond memories of that game (though I am the only one I personally know who was able to pass it).
Everyone agreed it would be a fun lunch time game to play in the office.

Re: Z remake (on XNA 2D IceCream Engine)
Hi Meeky,
So I need to install z95?
"Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Program Files\Bitmap Brothers\Z\winz.exe'."
Why is it dependent on an old Z install? (My old copy of Z is somewhere at my parents place)

Re: The Zod Engine
Nice
Sounds get annoying (looks like you turned them off)?
So robots will no longer be in groups of 3? (I liked the squads)

Re: Z remake (on XNA 2D IceCream Engine)
Awesome, looking great Its been a real long time since I played Z, do the units deselect once you give them orders (or that just work in progress)? I like your idea FreakNigh on viewing all unit productions from a menu. Probalby asking in the wrong place, but has anyone stripped the Z steel soldiers...
