definitely no real 3d engine, coz that is what I think ruined Z SS The idea of Z2 being like WC3 compared to WC2 is good imo. It's a 3d engine, yeah, but one that doesnt require u to rotate or zoom like mad. Look at some older games like Monkey Island 3 and then compare them graphics wise to Runaway...

I'd be glad try this, but rather with the Dos Z version that runs on Winxp (see my other thread) than with Dosbox. I won't have time till the 11th of october (end of exams), but after that I'd like to try this out. I'm pretty sure that it will work much better with a non emulated version. if anyone ...

I think the BBs are pretty much dead, so I wouldn't expect to hear from them, let alone get your hands on a source code. Some talented programmers and artists should build a Z-like game from scratch: Same graphics-style, same principle, same humour and setting. It would look alike, but maybe in simp...

you should get broadband, really :) I've had broadband for about 5 or 6 years now, and I don't see why people still surf around with slower connections. No offense, but don't u flip out when you wait for a website to open up? In most countries it's not that expensive anymore... Well, hmm actually th...

go to:
http://www.emule-project.net/home/perl/general.cgi?l=1

download the software there

then look for the file by searching for "bitmap z"

it says "tested and works on windows xp", and the file is only 12 mb

that should do

Z on XP without emulation

Found this on edonkey and gave it a go. Z works under winxp that way, but no cutscenes. I'll try to modify it so that legit Z owners can play the full game with cutscenes as soon as I find the time to do so. I'll also try to get in contact with the guy who made this. Enjoy, this is the first time Z ...
