Be patient. Something's coming up.... What do you know that we don't know George? Yeah, c'mon, spill it! Ya can't keep us in the dark now... It is level 11- to be honest I wasn't playing seriously as I have been studying and preparing to move to another part of the country, but I played the l...

gotta agree with ya there Chryos- I loved the fact that they all were so nicely proportioned and contained, the interaction with the units was good (even the annoying inteligence levels- darn some of the units were dumb!). When I was trying to get Z to work using XP I found a copy of Z: SS here in N...

Hey dude, look for the posts by Devils advocate- from what I gathered there are three approaches, and Devils' was the one that worked for me- easiest to use! Good luck!

On the emulated version of the game I downloaded it had an unofficial guide to playing the levels- I will have a look for it if you like, and if you PM me your e-mail address I can send it to you. Happy hunting- I'm at Slippery Jim at the mo, though my tactics are lousy- hold em at bay, build as man...

I have an ASUS A6VM laptop, 1.73gHz, 512MB DRAM, Windows XP Pro (with SP2). Raven TS, I'm assuming you are asking me- this is what I put in page two of this thread. Sadly I am better at following instructions than messing with line code- how do you attribute RAM to DOS Box? :? Oh, and I have a CD /...

Have you tried and change the letter to something else besides E? Maybe C. c or e. Yeah, tried both upper & lower case. Even tried c\games\z for the squits and giggles too! :D One thing I have noticed is that when I click on the icon for DOSBox, Windows pops up and informs me that DOSBox is trying ...

Aarrgh! They're all over us! :) Or maybe not- I've followed the instructions, but I'm getting stuck at step 9- I'm getting the error saying that the file "main.pac" is missing. I've opened up the file "z.bat" using notepad, and it says E where X is specified, as it should- this is correct as E is my...

EB games are selling the budget version for $10 and the proper version at $50- being the skinflint I am though, I still took it back a week later- couldn't stand it! Not a patch on the original

Thanks Bruce, good to be here- makes me feel I'm that step closer to finally getting to play it after all these years! I had a look at this thread yesterday after about three hours of trying the DosBox FAQ's- probably in the wrong frame of mind for it at the time! I'll have another look at it over t...

Maybe not, but it doesn't stop most moves being made! lol Seriously, look at the cartoon GI Joe: the movie (or any of them for that matter). Nah, give it a crack, I'd watch it! :D

Hi people, just wanted to say that Z was the only game I ever purchased- got it as a demo and never looked back! Finally bought a decent laptop (Win 95 PC died years ago) and found to my horror that Z didn't work! Gave Z:SS a crack, and it seemed like a knockoff of C & C, so I took it back. Tried Z ...
