Post by Win98retro » 2016-02-12, 12:19

Hello,

i have played z in Dosbox. (And
Now i'm serching for Z Expansion Kit but in German language.
Im searching for the original from 90's because i played it in this time also.
And the Sound in english is for me not authentic because i know the game only in the German language, if you know what i mean ;-)

Anyone has the game (Z Expansion) in German?

I am pretty sure Z95 and Z DOS uses the same audio files. You can just copy the AUDIO folder from Z DOS (german version) to your Z95 installation directory.
I think, I currently only have all the sound files in WAV format on my drive. I could write a small converter that converts the files from WAV to RAW if you can't find the files at all.

Ahh, I just realized that the Steam version also uses audio files in RAW format. Here are all the sound files in the 5 major languages:

By the way, I have heard there is a Russian fan translation.
Does anyone have the Russian audio files? Or any information where one could get them?
