Man this is great, thanks!
I managed to extract the menu's and Z loading screen where you see space and a big Z with different loading text languages.
But that is all unfortunately.
Parlementer any idea about the ingame graphics like terrain, robotheads etc. instead of the menu's.
Do you have an idea where it's in?
EDIT: BTW, I cant seem to unpack Z.pac with your extracter.
So my guess is that there are the other craphics or in other pac files which cannot be extracted.

This unpacker is for unpacking ALL [pac|exp]-jmp2-files. Z95 has a little amount of files which called .exp but not in jmp2 format i.e. not packages.
You can unpack any or all [pac|exp]-jmp2-file this way:
cmd
cd C:\Z (or C:\Z95)
for %i in (*.pac *.exp) do unpackit %i
LBM-files can be viewed by ACDsee for example.
Other format need reverseengineering.

Terrain graphics hm which file do I need to unpack cause I unpacked all pac files I could find (install folder and cdrom).Parlamenter wrote:There is terrain graphics.Tanel K wrote:Does it do anything else besides unpacking wardata.pac into the menu graphics?
Grats BTW.
And about the Z.pac file I think it's located on the Root of the Z cd-rom.
Can you make a list of the files (pac, exp, etc) which can be extracted with the location and which files they contain?
Like this:
Z.pac (root cd) - menu's
Bla.pac (Z install folder) - terrain textures
or
Root cd -> Z.pac: terrain
Root cd -> bla.pac: menu's
etc etc

I can't buy it in a shop. It don't distribute anymore. I don't want scratch my ass to find it somewhere. I've got a cd-copy and enjoy it sometimes. I make this tool just for fun to make some push to Z?s community.BERSERK3R wrote:Parlamenter wrote:![]()
Wake up, man.
Can you upload CD-image to megaupload?You don't got a legal version, and you call yourself a Z fan
I need not you copy of cd to play. I think to get some new data to explore.
Now I play in Perimeter. It?s cool.
Z... is just the best RTS in the past. It hasn't so good community like X-COM for example.
Now you must make decision: sleep in a bed with your legal version or attach to community and make Z a little better.
