No clue someone linked Z Cool as a download on here and I downloaded it and oh my lord and heaven it was evil.

nd gets the only weapon you can get to stop them and they even get a Heavy tank and medium. That is no fun.
Mr. Ballwin developed these 4 Extremelly difficult Z levels specially for "hard core" gamers. They are really hard, but not unreal - I finished them from 3-4 times of replay...

If you don't like this difficulty - just Use "Replay level" in Z menu to replay any other levels - they are unchanged and still easy...

I would love to play normal Z but with all the maps having higher manufacturing levels just not tons of vehicles pwnded everywhere. lol

Вeta testing new uncommon single level 07 "Pyro Technics"!
(There is a simplified variant of a level). Write comment. Let's to work at self-improvement ;)

== MOD "Hard Ordeal", for Z1 ==
** Single LEAVEL 07 ***

Is intended for version Z1 (Z _ COOL) for Windows XP and DOS (DOSBox).

Download: http://GeneralZod.narod.ru/file/mod_LEVEL07.rar

Install:
- To unload archive in a folder with game Z
- To replace an original level 07 (Pyro Technics)
- Start game and reload "Pyro Technics"

Look-and-feel:
1. In bloody battle 4 players participate. 3 computer players: blue, green, yellow.
- The yellow and green players are protected at the centre. These computer players do not have fort.
- Blue and red can not attack against each other. At first they cut one's way through yellow and green.

Pyro Techics: 6 lost, 65 killed
Time: 11 min 15 sec

EDIT: The best moment was:

I had a group of Laserrs go against two enemy MMOs coming in a row. All but one Laser got whacked - but he managed to shoot out one of the MMO drivers and grab the vehicle. Then both fired at each other simultaneously.. and blew up :shake:

Too bad the 3rd and 4th players don't have any AI or anything.

But IMO a neat concept of a level would be "steal hardware from behind the green player, while the blue is making a full assault on you". Say, you only get a few bots to sneak and steal tanks and a few Lights versus incoming enemy Heavies and Mediums. You have Howitzer guns but they won't last long against blue. Also the best factories would be secured by the 3rd player.

This could probably be executed on a map like Swamp Fever/Bridge Game.

Either way, great job on the mods, i'm enjoying them to the fullest ;)

My test the report:
— I has not found an essential fault of the level (very easy way to win).
— On the left edge I never not lost (5-6 match). The best result: time-16:05, lost/kiilled-15/96, score-36271, Warlord. The worst result: time – 26:34, Colonel.
— The attack on the right edge not always results in a victory (11 match). Some times I have lost fight. However prize impresses: time-11:37, lost/kiilled-3/56, score-6365, Warlord. But at an adverse situation the fight lasts very long. The worst result: time-50:05.

Whether something is required to be changed? What ideas?

Interestingly. Now we make a "Volcan" and "Arctic". It is necessary to search for a suitable level for the steal-concept on these planets. ;)

I Played it only 1 time and found very easy - Blue CPU lost all his tanks trying to kill Orange but failed.

Then I attack at the center and right side and wiped them all.

Result 8:19 Warlord
Killed 51, lost 7




My opinion - too many vehicles and factories on such small map..

I tried to make a level of my own using both Z-Cool and Z98 (with VM)

However, it seems that i edited some level files which i shouldn't have, Z-Cool was no longer able to play them.

How much can i edit the level? Only move the objects? Or change territories and flags? Can i move forts, edit terrain?

Or to say, which files can i manipulate so that Z-Cool would still be able to play the levels.
