Tests a new single level for Z1

Take a new level here -- http://GeneralZod.narod.ru/file/Cachatka/LEVEL04.rar
Move in a folder with game.
Replace a folder LEVEL04 by a new level.
Start a level "Desert Islands" (04).

Inform about the noticed lacks. Any ideas :wink:

Win XP only!!!

ok, got it! Thanks again for great opportunity to play new map, BallWin!

This one is really new and cool!

First time - I lost, but second time i won.

My result is 08:54 Warlord, and what is your result guys?

My advices about this map:

1. Why do you give APC near fort, but no Tough? When I buld tough i already won, it was too late to use APC
2. The far right territory (with 2 tanks near flag). I think it is too easy to place 2 tanks there. If CPU takes them - he wins, if I took them - I win. I recommed to delete that tanks or place only 1 tank there.
3. Please place MMLaucher for each side for HARD CORE :)

I win always. However My the best result 16:36, PRIVATE. :?
The longest set - 23:19.

1. APC is moved with the soldier to the right bottom corner of a map. Grasps territory. The grunts cast off the APC. They capture the flag, Jeep, Gattling.

2. In an automatic mode My grunts have no time to grasp tanks. Blue soldiers earlier arrive. I move the soldiers to the bridge. I expect while blue move below. Only then I can seize tanks (one or both).

3. The balance is necessary. Then I shall try. (Or you want to try in this version? :wink: )

How you managed to blow up a tower for 8:54?
This year i use agressive strategy in Z. of course, it is risky, but 90% i win and win FAST.

I capture as many territories as i can, never sit in defence, i bould only Light Tanks (MANY) and snipers, no Jeeps or Heavy tanks..

The main problem on Large maps in Z - it is very hard to manage great number of Robot-Tank Factories on different territories at the same time, so I plan to creat 1 menu for all of them in X-Strategy to help managin productions

Your are too slow, my dear. I capture them before blue CPU using my Psycos and grunts, thats the key for fast victory

I prefer to see MMO instead of APC near fort..

Another idea - there are too many poor Gatlings and jeeps in the button. I hate Gatlings :empty:

I have cleaned the tank, has added at blue 2 Heavy Tanks (at red 1), has
changed still something.

My result is 14:32 Warlord.

We test last level for a planet DESERT http://GeneralZod.narod.ru/file/Cachatk ... l02_01.rar
Temporarily we install a NEW level in a folder LEVEL02.

To share one's experiences with me. What general effect? What it is necessary to change?

OK, Cool Levels, Mr. Ballwin!

I really liked them all! Thank you for your time and work!

My results:

Level 4 18:19 Captain (win 1, loose 0)
Level 2 13:48 Colonel (win 1, loose 0)


Level 2 was a real suprise for me, it is a mayhem and chaos - so many territories to maintain, I had to be in 10-15 places in the same time, It was REALLY HARD, but I DONE IT! I won!!!!


frieds of the forum ZZONE, do you test new levels, what are your results? Lets support mr. Ballwin for his great work!!

someone needs to make a map with a single bridge in the very center. Only way for vehciles to get to one's enemy is to go across the bridge or have alot of robot suicide waves through the water. lol

For new levels the changes in original files are done. The used is program Hex Workshop http://www.bpsoft.com/downloads/hw32v423.exe

It is interesting. The similar ideas were already offered earlier. Whether however it will be interesting to play at a similar level? I am not sure in it. It is necessary to try.

I think you should do a full difficaulty mod for the game. Keep the maps but increase the level of manufacturing. Not like Cool Z which sucks because of major unbalanced issues per team. First map is lame the enemy bashes through the mountains and gets the only weapon you can get to stop them and they even get a Heavy tank and medium. That is no fun.
