Mystery Vehicle

Post by TCIII » 2006-07-07, 03:15

LOL cool site
I did the cut scenes for Z, and as I remember (although this was over 10 years ago now) the vehicle was a fire truck. It was supposed to put out the buildings and bridges(?) that had been set alight by the flame throwers (obviously), but it never made it to the final cut.
So now you know, you can all sleep easy. :lazy:

Well Rocket fuel, (the drink, they drink) wasn?t originally called rocket fuel.
In the UK there is a type of super strength beer, favoured by winos, called ?Special Brew? so originally the beer in Z was called ?Spacial Brew? (get it) which imo was a much better joke.
But after we had rendered nearly everything, Warners lawyers lost there nerve and we had to composite new cans into every scene.:(
If you look carefully you can see the joins and where the shadows don?t quite match in some scenes.

Hi TCIII,

thanks for that inside spin on the liquid. Very interesting. Would you happen to have some other "nostalgic" stuff that I can put up on the ZZone here for the fans?

Best regards,

If you like I could send you acouple of animations that never appeared in the game. They were pre-production stuff used to test the tough character in some new software we were using.
Let me know where to send them if you want

2 TCIII:
Do you really have sources of Z?

Then can you post pac-file structures and I'll sleep well too.
I think Pac-file is a John M. Phillips work...
