I am also big fan of this game.

My computer is AMD 2500xp 1.8ghz, 768mb ram, Asus ATI 9200SE graphic card 128 mb. You can download demo of this game but only one level easy to play, no music and boring. BEST things in this game is robots talking, music, real time gameplay, fantastic graphics, explosions, realtime combat and many more……..

Need to say something more about this game. Incredible robots AI, this robots can kill enemy soldier who driving wehicle and capture tank, jeep, howitzer….. they can kill penguin on the ground, birds on the sky (with nice effects ), if you leave them in the water they can fishing, all for fun, in swamp crocodile can eat them, amazing, incredible ingame music following action of the game. tomislavija@hotmail.com

Z-steel soldiers download Here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=L7UTBDA0

Outstanding 3D graphic and gameplay.

Instructions included in archive, use winrar to extract files.

Z: Steel Soldiers
Steel Soldiers takes the core structure of the original title, Z, and immerses you into an arcade-strategy title where the emphasis is on real-time combat. Featuring a realistic 3D environment, Steel Soldiers represents a real world war zone in that every metre of ground needs to be fought for. There are 30 unit types and 20 building types to experiment with, and there is a new core of elite infantry units: Technician, Explosives Expert and Spy.
Steel Soldiers invading store shelves with Captain Zod yelling: "We're back and this time we're ain't gonna take no damn clone crap!"
In Steel Soldiers you have 3D landscapes featuring desert, volcanic, forest, arctic, wasteland, and archipelago worlds. Buildings, vehicles and units are nicely detailed and articulated. Weapons look cool with lighting effects and explosions give off expanding concussion rings. Reflective water, indigenous lifeforms that crawl or hop or fly about and weather effects also add a nice touch. All this eye-candy comes at a cost though. It'll take at least a PIII 800 with 128MB RAM and a 64MB 3D card to enjoy all the graphic amenities. Less powerful system owners will have the option of tweaking down the features through the options menu. Using either keyboard or mouse, you can scroll, tilt, rotate and zoom to your heart's content.

If you like this games you should buy it http://www.amazon.com/Z-Pc/dp/B0002SLBR ... d_sim_vg_5

greetz fly out to Tom !!!!

Thanks Tom, but while it works on my Windows 7 (to an extent) the colours are horrible, and breaking up, the response is all wrong. I tried compatabil;ity settings for XP but got a message (in Russian and english) not to set them !
Any way to get Z working properly ?
I got a link once to a Z on here that worked brilliantly in Vista, but can't find the answer I got despite using search. (I had to get a new hard drive and lost my working Z)

Edit - Well, found the link to the Z that worked well on Vista, but it's no longer working.
