Things are looking good.

I do have one question. In the original different robots had different "intelligences" For instance a grunt driving a jeep would almost always lose to a sniper driving a jeep. Will we be able to duplicate this in the newer version? (I always liked the Snipers!) :?: :?:

AFAIR in game resources exist only image firetruck and truck. Did't sprites.
But the advantages of these units is equivocal. Therefore BB exclude these units from the game.

Yes bit as you can see in the image they once had more sprites pertaining to the truck and fire truck, so I was wondering if Mike could dig them out for us. I have no clue what could be done with the truck right now but the fire truck would be an awesome addition. And yes vehicles will eventually be controlled better depending on the robot that commands them.

Here is the video for the weekend, I have gotten all of the units firing so now I am trying to get the rest of the effects in so it looks like the real game. And there are a lot of little effects pertaining to this :P After all of the death effects etc, I will probably move onto factories etc producing units.

Now the light medium and heavy shoot off their tops, which is needed before I can do the cannon death effects.

yup the tops are treated like missiles. It's important to get as much of the effects as we can, the only one I am unsure if we will be able to do is the static effect that happens when a unit is under attack and you have them selected in the hud. Also I do not think we will get the AI etc to behave exactly the same.

I think by the end of tomorrow we'll have unit production working, sadly work has been slowed greatly because i've been sick for the past few weeks.
